As one of Australian public radio’s first online producers, Amelia Chappelow has always been passionate about helping people share their stories and connect with their communities in innovative ways.
At ABC, Amelia led programming teams at triple j, the country’s leading music and culture recommending brand, a national youth radio station across all platforms.
Amelia directly contributed to triple j’s nationwide 100% audience growth, launched two digital streaming services (triple j unearthed and Double J) together with their digital communities and created the Like a Version podcast in 2008, the world’s most popular (and longest running!) cover song performance session that continues to win Australian music awards.
Amelia was the co-creator for a feature film documentary on China’s pre-wedding photography obsession ‘China Love’ that premiered at DOCNYC Film Festival.
